Printer friendly version Back to search results New Search Sexual Assault Response CommitteeThe Sexual Assault Response Committee has been providing support services to victims, family members and the general public in our city for over fifteen years. Its primary purpose is to provide a voice in the community on the issue of sexual violence, to provide a point of contact and care for victims of all forms of sexual abuse including, childhood sexual abuse, and sexual assault and to provide education about Sexual Violence. It is comprised of twenty community agencies such as Palliser Health Region - Community Mental Health, Emergency Room and Sexual Health, as well as The Women’s Shelter Society, Medicine Hat Family Service and The Youth Action Society. These agencies, together with services provided directly by the staff at SARC, ensure that victims and their families have access to much needed support in times of crisis and beyond.Service area:
